In social studies this term we've been told to research a global product or brand. Our goal was to  find where our products country of origin, where some land marks are and what there made of. The product that i researched was Kathmandu. Kathmandu is a native New Zealand made product. The brand is ideal used for outdoor activity like camping, hiking and wet weather clothes. 

My understanding 

Economy: the state of a country or region in terms of the production and consumption of goods and services and the supply of money.

Trade: the action of buying and selling goods and services.

Globalisation: the process by which businesses or other organisations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale.

My Dream Holiday !...

 

My dream holiday looks like me waking up in a 5 star hotel awoken by brightened sun shining in my eyes. Me picking my restless body out of bed to open the curtains to an unforgettable view of the blue skied like ocean. Walking out to the balcony taking a glimpse of everything I've dreamed to observe my whole life. Gusts of wind crossing my face and views taking me away by surprise and bringing me nothing but happiness and desire. A cultural and unique breakfast to look forward to and meeting such cultural different people to bond with. holding my Gucci scuffs in my right hand walking across the most satisfying kinetic gold sand feeling nothing but its warmth and comfort in between my toes. Walking in the ocean and feeling the coldness against my body. Anticipating to feel calm and free, and most of all to do nothing but fun. Exploring within the water holes in the caves with clear blue water and coral reefs. Observing all sorts of different sea life creatures. Going hiking through there forest reaching cliffs of endless sea views looking flat and ending to nowhere like you'll reach the end to just fall of the face of the earth. Leaving my vacation with total amazement and loss of words. And arriving home with unforgettable memories and able to tell my friends and family '' I just got back from the most amazing trip ever in the most beautiful and cultural island of Niue."
